Formation 

La formation à l’éthique de la recherche et à l’intégrité scientifique des doctorants au cours de leur formation, toutes spécialités confondues, est obligatoire depuis 2016. Elle est confiée aux écoles doctorales, qui sont libres d’organiser cet enseignement comme elles le souhaitent. Le COMETS recense ici quelques ressources sur l’éthique de la recherche.

Les membres du COMETS interviennent régulièrement dans le cadre de formations ou de journées pédagogiques, sur le thème de l’éthique, de la recherche et des sciences.

INTERACTIVE TRAINING

  • Interactive Movie « The Lab: Avoiding Research Misconduct »
    you become the lead characters in an interactive movie and make decisions about integrity in research that can have long-term consequences. The simulation addresses Responsible Conduct of Research topics such as avoiding research misconduct, mentorship responsibilities, handling of data, responsible authorship, and questionable research practices.

  • The Dilemma Game app
    It confronts researchers with difficult dilemmas in the context of a critical dialogue, supporting them in further developing their own ‘moral compass’.

TRAIN THE TRAINER

  • Training  « Become a certified trainer on research integrity and ethics »
    The VIRT2UE Project, founded by the European Commission in 2018, has developed a blended learning train the trainer program on Research Integrity which provides participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct a research integrity course. Trainers are taught how to foster reflection on scientific virtues in researchers, and how to promote understanding of the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity.
